Who can join?

Sturdy footwear and a little courage are all you need to enjoy this unique 100-meter-high adventure.

In case of storms, hail, lightning, or heavy rain, the bridge must be vacated immediately without instruction. Please follow all staff instructions. If extreme weather is forecast, we reserve the right to close the bridge. Updates will be posted on our website.

How does it work?

Nach Abstellen des Fahrzeuges auf dem Hauptparkplatz „Rappbodetalsperre“ oder der Anreise mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr, gibt es die Möglichkeit entweder im Ticketcenter auf dem Parkplatz, hier auf unserer Internetseite oder am Ticketautomaten — direkt an den Brückenportalen — ein Eintrittsticket zu erwerben. Jedes unserer Tickets ist für den Hin- und Rückweg über die Brücke freigegeben. An besonders gut besuchten Tagen (Feiertage, Ferien, etc.) kann es an den Brückenportalen zu Wartezeiten kommen — Grund dafür ist eine automatische Personenbegrenzung. Diese sorgt zum einen für die notwendige Sicherheit und bewahrt zum anderen die Qualität deines Ausfluges.

Is the bridge open in all weather?

No, if wind exceeds BFT 6 or during thunderstorms, the bridge must be cleared and closed.

How long does it take to cross?

It depends on you! But on average, visitors spend about 35 minutes on the bridge.

Why no child tickets at the machines?

After testing, we found children were using the bridge almost exclusively.

Is my ticket valid for round trip?

Yes, your ticket includes both directions. You can leave and re-enter, finishing at the same turnstile where you started.

Is there a visitor limit?

Yes, we have an automatic capacity limit to ensure safety and visit quality.

Do I need to reserve a spot?

No reservations are possible or necessary.
